This appeal is directed against order dated 05.02.2025 passed by learned Single Judge in Contempt Application (Civil) No.491 of 2025, whereby the contempt application filed by the appellant has been dismissed with a cost of Rs. 50,000/- and directions have been given that the cost be recovered from the appellant as arrears of land revenue by the Collector, Allahabad within one month from the date of the order and the same shall be reported to the Court. 2. The contempt application was filed by the appellant alleging disobedience of order dated 28.05.2014 passed in Om Prakash Verma and others Vs. State of U.P. and others : 2014 (5) ADJ 427. It was alleged that despite general mandamus issued by the Court, on the application made by the appellant for removal of alleged encroachments, the authorities i.e. the District Collector, Sub Divisional Officer and Tehsildar have not acted
