The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in similar facts relating to a batchmate of the petitioner, this Court by its Order dated 24.07.2019 in W.P.(C) 6747/2018 titled, ‘Vijay Das v. Director General Central Industrial Security Force & Ors.’ has granted the relief to the petitioner therein, by observing as under: “5. Having heard learned counsel, we are inclined to allow the petition, as claimed. The petitioner cannot be made to suffer only on account of the default of the respondents in belatedly issuing appointment letter to him.
