The petitioner is essentially aggrieved against a resolution passed by the Gram Panchayat. 3. The writ petition filed in public interest would even otherwise not lie for the reason that the petitioner has a personal interest in the proceedings. 4. Section 96 of U.P. Panchayat Raj Act, 1947 provides for an alternative remedy in relation of such grievances.
