The instant public interest litigation has been filed for the following relief: 'issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding / directing the respondent no.4 (Tahsildar/ Assistant Collector) to take appropriate steps with regard to removal of unauthorized possession of the persons of the village from Gram Sabha land being Arazi No.668 with area 0.089 hectare recorded as Pond/ Gadha in revenue record and meant for public use situated in village- Sultanpur Ghughuri, Post- Sarai Mohiuddinpur, Tahsil- Shahganj, District- Jaunpur.' 3.
