This petition, purportedly in public interest, has been filed inter alia seeking direction for holding inquiry into the action taken by respondents no. 6, 7 and 8, in the year 2018 for allotment of land under Section 198 of the Uttar Pradesh Zamindari Abolition and Land Reforms Act, 1950. 2. Submissions have been made that despite taking the money from the farmers in the year 2018, the allotments did not take place and that complaints for making enquiry were made, however, the respondent no.6, who at the relevant time was posted as Tehsildar, has now been posted as Sub Divisional Magistrate and, therefore, there is likelihood of the said respondent no.6 again indulging into the wrongdoing and, therefore, the action be initiated. 3.
