It is noticed that when this matter was taken up by this Court on 17.11.2023, the respondent i.e. All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) had informed that the department had complied with the direction of this Court and accordingly sought time to file a status report in this regard. 3. As per bare contents of the contempt petition, according to petitioner, respondents had committed contempt of order dated 25.07.2019 whereby the respondent-AICTE was directed to decide the appeal filed by the petitioner within four weeks. 4. Learned counsel for respondent-AICTE submits that petitioner had merely filed a representation which has been described somehow as appeal in the aforesaid order.
