THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE K SREENIVASA REDDY CRIMINAL PETITION No.959 OF 2025 ORDER: This Criminal Petition, under Sections 480 and 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed by the petitioner/A2, seeking bail, in Crime No.51/2024 of G.Madugula Police Station, Alluri Sitharamaraju District. 2. A case has been registered against the petitioner and others for the offences under Sections 20(b)(ii)(C), 25 r/w 8(c) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. 3. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that, on 15.11.2024 at 9.00 am, on receipt of credible information regarding illegal possession and transportation of ganja, S.I of Police, along with staff, went to Nurmathi village junction and found a Mahindra Commander jeep bearing registration no.AP 39 GK 4609, and on seeing police, the driver of the jeep stopped the same and tried to escape. Then police apprehended the accused and found 200 kgs of ganja in their possession. Police arrested the accused, seized the ganja and jeep and got remanded the accused to judicial custody. 4. Heard.
