HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE K.SREENIVASA REDDY Criminal Petition No.918 of 2025 Order: This Criminal Petition, under Sections 480 and 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed by the petitioner/A3, seeking regular bail, in Crime No.51 of 2024 of G. Madugula Police Station, Alluri Sitharama Raju district. 2. A case has been registered against the petitioner herein and others for the offences punishable under Sections 20(b)(ii)(C), 25 read with 8(c) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (for short ‘the NDPS Act’). 3. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that, on 15.11.2024, at about 09.00 hours, on credible information, the Assistant Sub- Inspector of Police, G. Madugula Police Station, along with his staff and mediators, proceeded to Nurmathi village Junction and found one person in possession and illegal transportation of 200 Kgs of Ganja in Mahindra Commander Jeep bearing registration No.AP 39 GK 4609. The contraband along with jeep and other material was seized under cover of a mediators report and a case has been registered against the accused.
