THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE K SREENIVASA REDDY CRIMINAL PETITION NO: 1935 OF 2025 ORDER: This Criminal Petition, under Sections 480 and 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed by the petitioners/A1 and A2, seeking bail, in Crime No.216/2024 of Kirlampudi Police Station, Kakinada District. 2. A case has been registered against the petitioners for the offence under Section 20(b)(ii)(C) r/w 8(c) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. 3. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that, on 25.11.2024 at 7.00 am, on receipt of credible information regarding illegal possession and transportation of ganja, the S.I of Police, Kirlampudi Police Station, along with staff and mediators, started conducting vehicle checking at NH-16 road, 684 km stone, Somavaram Village, Kirlampudi Mandal, Kakinada District and found one Bolero goods carriage vehicle bearing registration No.AP 26 TE 7786. On seeing the police, the inmates in the Bolero vehicle tried to escape. Then, the police apprehended two persons, who are A1 and A2, and on interrogation, they disclosed their identity particulars and police found 163.545 kgs of ganja in the Bolero vehicle.
