THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE K SREENIVASA REDDY CRIMINAL PETITION No.1911 OF 2025 ORDER: This Criminal Petition, under Sections 480 & 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed by the petitioner/accused, seeking bail, in Crime No.109/2023 of Biccavole Police Station, East Godavari District. 2. A case has been registered against the petitioner for the offences punishable under Sections 328 and 380 IPC. 3. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that, on 11.5.2023, by giving some stupefying drug on the pretext of Prasadham to one Goluguri Adilakshmi, a 70 years’ old lady, who is residing alone, the accused committed theft of gold chain weighing 3 sovereigns worth Rs.60,000/-, while she was unconscious state, and subsequently, the Inspector of Police, while conducting investigation in connection with a crime of their police station, seized stolen property in this case.
