THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE K SREENIVASA REDDY CRIMINAL PETITION NO: 1907 OF 2025 ORDER: This Criminal Petition, under Sections 480 and 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed by the petitioner/A1, seeking bail, in Crime No.202/2024 of Sabbavaram Police Station, Anakapalle District. 2. A case has been registered against the petitioner and others for the offences under Sections 20(b)(ii)(C) r/w 8(c), 25 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. 3. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that, on 25.8.2024 at about 3.00 pm, on receipt of credible information regarding illegal possession and transportation of ganja, the S.I of Police, Sabbavaram Police Station, along with staff and mediators, started conducting vehicle checking at R & B tar road, Gullepalli junction, Sabbavaram Mandal and found a lorry bearing registration no.AP 31 TA 4789. On seeing the police, Driver of the lorry and other inmates in the lorry tried to escape by stopping the lorry.
