SREENIVASA REDDY Criminal Petition No.1643 of 2025 Order: This Criminal Petition, under Sections 480 and 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed by the petitioner/A2, seeking regular bail, in Crime No.55 of 2024 of Pedabayalu Police Station, Alluri Sitharama Raju district. 2. A case has been registered against the petitioner herein and another for the offences punishable under Section 111(2)(b) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (for short ‘the BNS’) and Sections 20(b)(ii)(C), 25 read with 8(c) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (for short ‘the NDPS Act’). 3. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that, on 19.11.2024, at about 15.30 hours, on credible information, the Assistant Sub- Inspector of Police, Pedabayalu Police Station, along with his staff and mediators, while conducting vehicle checking near Seethagunta Bridge Entrance Road, found A1 and A2 coming from Kothaputtu junction in a Maruti Suzuki Car.
