THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE K SREENIVASA REDDY CRIMINAL PETITION NO: 1119 OF 2025 ORDER: This Criminal Petition, under Sections 480 and 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed by the petitioners/A3 to A5, seeking bail, in Crime No.52/2024 of Pedabayalu Police Station, Alluri Sitharamaraju District 2. A case has been registered against the petitioners and another for the offences under Sections 111(2)(b) of B.N.S and 20(b)(ii)(C) r/w 25, 8(c) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. 3. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that, on 28.10.2024 at about 3.30 pm, on receipt of credible information regarding illegal possession and transportation of ganja, the S.I of Police, Pedabayalu Police Station, along with staff and mediators, went to Kothaputtu junction road and started conducting vehicle checking. They found one Swift car coming from Kujabangi, and on seeing the police, three persons, including the Driver, got down from the car by stopping it and tried to escape.
