SREENIVASA REDDY Criminal Petition No.1092 of 2025 Order: This Criminal Petition, under Sections 480 and 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed by the petitioners/A5 to A8, seeking regular bail, in Crime No.100 of 2024 of RSASTF Police Station, Tirupati district. 2. A case has been registered against the petitioners herein and others for the offences punishable under Section 303(2) read with 3(5), 49, 61(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Section 20(1)(d)(i)(a) read with 20(1)(c), ii, iii, iv, x, 36(a) read with 32-A of the AP Forest (Amendment) Act, 2016. 3. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that, on 23.12.2024, at about 11.00 PM, at Reppalathippa reserve forest area, S.K. Madugu Forest Beat, Beerakuppam Section, Sathyavedu range, Nagalapuram Mandal, A1 to A8 criminally trespassed into reserve forest without permission, cut the live red sander trees, committed theft and trying to shift by loading for the purpose of smuggling red sander logs.
