THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE K SREENIVASA REDDY CRIMINAL PETITION NO: 1075 OF 2025 ORDER: This Criminal Petition, under Sections 480 and 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed by the petitioners/A1 to A4, seeking bail, in Crime No.296/2024 of II Town Police Station, Visakhapatnam Commissionerate. 2. A case has been registered against the petitioners/A1 to A4 and others for the offence under Section 20(b)(ii)(C) r/w 8(c) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. 3. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that, on 01.12.2024 at 2.30 am, on receipt of credible information regarding illegal possession and transportation of ganja, the S.I of Police, II Town Police Station, Visakhapatnam Commissionerate, along with staff and mediators, went to D.No.32-25-26/1, 2nd floor, Kobbarithota, Allipuram, Visakhapatnam and found four persons in a room with two boxes and three plastic bags. On seeing the police, the said four persons tried to escape. Then police apprehended them, and on interrogation, they disclosed their identity particulars as that of A1 to A4 and police found 122.042 kgs of ganja in their possession.
