Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus to direct the respondents to arrest the accused/respondent no. 4 in pursuance of FIR dated 03.10.2024 as Case Crime No. 0154 of 2024, u/S 452, 376, 504, 506 I.P.C., P.S. - Meerapur, District- Muzaffarnagar." 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner vehemently contended that even though the impugned FIR has been lodged way back on 3.10.2024 but till date there is no progress in the investigation. He states that initially the petitioner has moved an application u/s 156(3) Cr.P.C. for registration of the FIR but the same was rejected vide order dated 18.10.2023.
