Heard the learned counsel for the parties and perused the records. 2. The instant application has been filed seeking release of the applicant on bail in Case Crime No. 03 of 2024, under Sections 8/20 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, registered at Police Station Mirzapur, District Saharanpur. 3. The aforesaid case has been registered on the basis of an F.I.R. lodged by a Senior Sub Inspector of Police on 08.01.2024 at 00.55 Hrs. stating that the applicant was apprehended on the basis of suspicion on 07.01.2024 at 23.55 Hrs. He told that he was carrying charas in a bag held in his hand. He was informed about the provisions of Section 50 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act to the effect that he had the option to be taken to a Magistrate or a Gazetted Officer for search. The applicant agreed to be searched in presence of a Gazetted Officer on
