As per prosecution story, the applicant is stated to have taken the victim to a hotel on the pretext that he shall show her flat and spiked her drink and committed rape with her. He is stated to have even video-recorded the said act and had threatened the victim to make it viral on social media. 5. Learned counsel for the applicant has argued that the applicant is absolutely innocent and has been falsely implicated in the present case with a view to cause unnecessary harassment and to victimize him.
