On 04.02.2025, time was granted to the learned AGA for filing a counter affidavit. The learned AGA states that information about the order dated 04.02.2025 was sent on the same day yet no one has contacted him for preparation of the counter affidavit. He prayed for grant of two weeks further time for filing a counter affidavit but keeping in view the fact that the bail application is pending since 13.12.2024 and inspite of two weeks' time having been granted on 04.02.2025, no one has contacted the learned AGA for preparation of the counter affidavit, granting further time for filing counter affidavit does not appear to be expedient in the interest of justice.
