Applicant seeks bail in Case Crime No. 724 of 2024, under Sections 376, 506 I.P.C., Police Station Majhola, District Moradabad, during the pendency of trial. PROSECUTION STORY: 4. The applicant is stated to be the brother-in-law (devar) of the victim. The husband of the victim had expired during COVID-19 pandemic. The applicant is stated to have committed rape with the victim and subsequently promised her to marry but refused to comply with the said promise of marriage in the year 2022. ARGUMENTS ON BEHALF OF APPLICANT : 5. The applicant has been falsely implicated in the present case and he has nothing to do with the said offence. 6. The FIR is delayed by about two years and there is no explanation of the said delay cause
