The instant application has been filed seeking release of the applicant on bail in Case Crime No.316 of 2024, under Sections 60/63 of Excise Act registered at Police Station- Alinagar, District Chandauli. 3. The aforesaid case has been registered on the basis of F.I.R. lodged on 23.11.2024 against five persons, including the applicant, alleging that a bus was intercepted on the basis of information received from a Mukhbir, the Driver escaped and the applicant and co-accused Bhagwan Singh Yadav, who were travelling in the bus, were arrested. They confessed they were transporting smuggled liquor and 265.06 Litres smuggled liquor was recovered from the bus. 4. In the affidavit filed in support of the bail application,
