The present bail application has been filed by accused-applicant Gulzar seeking bail in Case Crime No.276 of 2024, under Sections 3/5/8 Cow Slaughter Act, P.S. Budhana, District Muzaffar Nagar. Learned counsel for applicant submits that in Case Crime No.284 of 2024, under Sections 109 B.N.S., Section 3/5/8 Cow Slaughter Act and Section 25/27 Arms Act, applicant has been enlarged on bail and on the basis of his confessional statement applicant has been made accused in the present case. There is no recovery of cow progeny or cow meat from the present applicant in this case. He further submits that confessional statement in the police custody is not permissible.
