The instant application has been filed seeking release of the applicant on bail in Case Crime No. 277 of 2024, under Sections 318 (4), 308 (5), 336 (3), 338, 340 (2) BNS and Sections 66D, 66E of Information Technology Act, registered at Police Station Sector- 20, District Gautam Budh Nagar. 3. The aforesaid case has been registered on the basis of an F.I.R. lodged on 30.08.2024 against three unknown persons alleging that the informant who is a doctor was searching for a flat to be taken on rent. A dealer took him to a flat where two persons were already there. They beaten up the informant, snatched away his mobile phone, took off his clothes and prepared his photo and video. One of them was having a pistol and the other was having a lathi and they demanded Rs.10,00,000/- for releasing the informant and they made him transfer Rs.2,4
