The instant application has been filed seeking release of the applicant on bail in Case Crime No. 185 of 2024, under Sections 2/3 of U.P. Gangster and Anti Social Activities (Prevention) Act 1986 registered at Police Station Jarcha, District Gautam Budh Nagar. 3. This is an extremely disturbing matter that has been placed before this court wherein the applicant is in custody in connection with the aforesaid case since 29.11.2024 to face trial for the allegation of committing offence under Section 2/3 of the U.P. Gangster and Anti Social Activities (Prevention) Act 1986, whereas the punishment provided for the aforesaid offence is a minimum of two years imprisonment and the maximum sentence provided is ten years. The applicant has already spent more than the
