The present bail application under Section 483 B.N.S.S. has been filed on behalf of applicants namely Basantu Biyar, Karan Kumar and Savaru Yadav, with a prayer to release them on bail in Case Crime No. 74/2024, under Section 3/5A/5B/8 U.P. Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act, 1955 and Section 11 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960, Police Station- Chakarghatta,District-Chandauli. In the prosecution case, it is alleged that the police party received information from the secret informer that some cattle smugglers after purchasing the cattle at cheap prices are about to sell them for slaughtering in Bihar and West Bengal.
