By means of this bail application the applicant has prayed to be enlarged on bail in Case Crime No. 111 of 2024 at Police Station - Swar, District Rampur, under Sections 302, 120-B IPC. The applicant is in jail since 30.03.2024. The bail application of the applicant was rejected by learned trial court on 22.11.2024. The applicant is the husband of the deceased who has been identified as the principal offender. The deceased suffered multiple antemortem injuries and the cause of death opined in the postmortem report was asphyxia due to antemortem throttling. The applicant had tried to mislead the family members of the deceased by informing them that the deceased was ill. The offence is grave.
