The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent No. 3, the Tehsildar, Deoria to decide restoration application dated 21.06.2024 filed in Mutation Case No. 2993 of 2023, within a stipulated time period. Counsel for the petitioner has referred to the 'order sheet' of the case, a copy whereof has been appended to the writ petition to point out that although several dates have been fixed but for some reason or the other, matter has been adjourned. The delay in disposal of the restoration application is stated to be causing hardship to the petitioner. Accordingly, a prayer is made for a direction to conclude the proceedings at an early date.
