Heard Sri Babu Lal Ram, learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri Abhishek Shukla, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel appearing for the State respondents. The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent authorities to segregate the shares of the petitioners in certain land parcels, wherein the petitioners claim to be recorded along with other co-sharers. Representations, in this regard, are stated to have been submitted before the respondent authorities. Counsel for the petitioners after making submissions to some extent has not disputed the fact that in the absence of determination of shares, the segregation of the names of the petitioners in the revenue record, cannot be made. Accordingly, learned counsel states that he does not wish to press the petition and that the petitioners would avail the appropriate statutory legal remedy, in regard t
