The instant petition has been filed for mandamus directing the respondent no.2/ Consolidation Officer, Ghorawal, Sonbhadra to decide the Case No.16/28/2021-22 under Section 12 of U.P.C.H. Act (Naurangi Devi vs. Devendra Bahadur Singh) within stipulated period. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the proceeding under Section 12 of U.P.C.H. Act initiated at the instance of the petitioner is pending before the Consolidation Officer in pursuance of the remand order dated 12.12.2024 passed in appeal.
