The case of the writ petitioner is that the husband of the writ petitioner, namely, Shri Santosh Kumar who was appointed as ward-boy vide appointment letter dated 24.01.2009, expired on 25.04.2023. The writ petitioner seeks compassionate appointment. 3. Prayer in the present petition is for a direction to the respondents to consider the claim. 4. Learned Standing Counsel submits that the claim of the writ petitioner needs adjudication at the first instance by the second respondent, Chief Medical Officer, District Ballia, U.P. at District Hospital Campus, Ballia, U.P. 5.
