Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State - respondents. After arguing the matter for quite sometime, learned counsel for the petitioner has confined his prayer to prayer no. (i) the extent that to decide the revision of the petitioner pending before the respondent no. 2 within a stipulated period of time. To the said prayer, learned standing counsel has no objection. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without entering into the merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 2 to decide the petitioner's aforesaid application, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably, within a period of two months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order, if there is no legal impediment.
