The present writ petition has been preferred seeking following relief: "(a) To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus whereby directing the respondent authorities to pay the petitioner his entire retiral benefits, pensionary benefits, provident fund by counting the service period of the petitioner commencing from 27.01.1985 till 30.06.2014 i.e. for the period of 29 years and further direct the respondents to pay the provident fund amount to the petitioner for the period of service rendered by him in the Railway Electrification Department, Lucknow and the respondent authorities may further be directed to reckon the period of the service of the petitioner from 05.05.1997 till 16.05.2001 i.e. the period of his illegal suspension with consequential benefits, within a short span of time to be stipulated
