Tiwari, learned counsel for the writ petitioner and Sri Manish Kumar, learned Standing Counsel for the State. 2. The grievance of the writ petitioner is that a departmental charge sheet came to be issued on 27.09.2024 containing charges, which are subject matter of criminal case. He submits that in view of the provisions contained under Regulations 489, 491 and 492 of the Police Regulations, the departmental proceedings cannot be allowed to continue until and unless, the criminal proceedings are culminated. 3. Learned Standing Counsel on the other hand submits that the departmental charge sheet came to be issued on 27.09.2024 and now, the writ petitioner has been directed to appear for defence evidence on 17.11.2025.
