Mr. Jagdish Chandra, learned CGSC candidly acknowledges that the dispute in this case is covered by the judgment of this Bench in UOI v. Ex Sub Gawas Anil Madso1 and other cases. He restricts his relief to limiting the broad banding benefit prospectively from the date of the judgment in Union of India v. Ram Avtar2. 2. As has been done by us in other cases, accordingly, we uphold the order of the AFT subject to the modification that broad banding would be granted to the respondent prospectively from the date of the judgment of the Supreme Court in Ram Avtar. 3.
