The present petition is filed seeking quashing of FIR No. 136/2016 dated 06.02.2016, registered at Police Station Shalimar Bagh, for offences under Sections 498A/406/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (‘IPC’), including all consequential proceedings arising therefrom. 2. It is averred that the marriage between Petitioner no.1 and Respondent No. 2 was solemnized on 07.12.2012 as per Hindu rites and ceremonies. One child was born out of the said wedlock. Thereafter, due to matrimonial discord, some misunderstandings took place between the parties, due to which, Signature Not VerifiedPetitioner No.1 and Respondent No. 2 started living separately.
