The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the B.N.S.S., 2023, whereby the petitioner, seeks a writ in the nature of habeas corpus directing the respondents to produce his wife, Mrs. Paramjeet Kaur, before this Court, who is stated to be under the illegal detention of one Mr. Inderpal Singh. 2. The petitioner submits that the alleged detenue, Mrs. Paramjeet Kaur, came into contact with Mr. Inderpal Singh through social media in January 2025. On 03.04.2025, Mr. Inderpal Singh met her in Delhi, disclosed his association with one unlawful organization, and attempted to induce her to join his activities, which she declined and disclosed to her husband/petitioner. On 31.05.2025, Mrs. Paramjeet Kaur, however, left her matrimonial home and has not returned thereafter. The petitioner apprehends that she had left her home, at instance of Mr. Inderpal Singh. Learned Standing Counsel, on instructions, has handed over a status report today and submits that the detenue herself contacted the ASI and stated that she had, voluntarily, left her matrimonial home of her own free will. 4. Today, Mrs. Paramjeet Kaur has appeared before this Court through video-conferencing. When asked, she s
