This is a petition under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, seeking quashing of FIR No. 0679/2021, dated 15.06.2021, registered at P.S Mahendra Park, Delhi under Sections 419/420 IPC and all proceedings emanating therefrom on the basis of settlement between the parties. 2. The factual matrix giving rise to the instant case is that respondent no. 2, alleged that the accused, falsely represented himself W.P.(CRL). 4093/2025 Page 1 of 4 Signature Not Verified Digitally Signed By:VAISHALI PRUTHI Signing Date:11.12.2025 15:54:34 as a Sub-Inspector of Delhi Police and induced the complainant to pay Rs. 30,000 on the pretext of securing him a job in Civil Defence. Despite repeated assurances, the accused failed to fulfill the promise and ceased all communication. An inquiry conducted by Barakhamba Vigilance corroborated the complainant’s claims, establishing the accused’s deceitful conduct. FIR No. 0679/2021 under Section 419/420 IPC was registered at the instance of respondent No.2. 3. During the course of proceedings, the parties amicably resolved their disputes and the terms of settlement were written in the form of a Compromise Deed dated 21.11.2025. It is submitted that the matter has been amicably and unconditionally settl
