This petition, purportedly in public interest, has been filed by the petitioner seeking removal/transfer of the composite shop and country liquor shop, Nagla Chamroo, Gautambudh Nagar from the National Highway and open the said shop in the abadi area of the said village in terms of Rules of the Uttar Pradesh Number and Location of Excise Shops Rules, 1968. 2. Though the petition purportedly has been filed in public interest, a perusal of the entire petition reveals that except for asserting that the shop should not exist near the National Highway, not a word affecting the public interest has been indicated in the petition. The petition, apparently, has been filed at behest of someone, whose business interest are getting affected on account of the location of the shop. 3. Filing
