This petition, purportedly in public interest, has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to respondent nos. 2 to 4 to take necessary and lawful action with regard to removal of illegal encroachment from the bank of Old Pandey Ghat to Babua Pandey Ghat illegally raised by Sailors/Naviks which create trouble to the visitors, devotees and devotees taking bath in holy river Ganga in the interest of public at large. 2.
