This petition, purportedly in public interest, has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents to hold inquiry against respondent no.7 under the provisions of Rules 4 and 5 of the Uttar Pradesh Panchayat Raj (Removal of Pradhans, Up-Pradhans and Members) Enquiry Rules, 1997 ('the Rules') and Section 95(1)(g) of the U.P. Panchayat Raj Act, 1947 ('the Act'). 2. An impleadment application has been filed by the Pradhan inter alia indicating that already an inquiry was instituted against the applicant wherein, after the report was given and was challenged by the applicant, now pursuant to the order dated 08.09.2025, the matter is pending before the Inquiry Committee. 3. Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the allegations for w
