This petition, purportedly in public interest, has been filed by the petitioner seeking to project the difficulties faced by the consumers of the fair price shop whose license has been suspended and the cardholders have been attached to another fair price shop. 2. When the matter came up before the Court on 11.11.2025, looking to the facts that explanation was submitted by the suspended licensee on 20.5.2025, whereafter on 06.06.2025 another officer was appointed for the purpose of holding the enquiry and five months have passed, it was expected by the Court that the enquiry would proceed with expedition. 3.
