This petition was filed by the law students in the year 2014 for studying air and noise pollution for the purpose of introducing CNG in public transport vehicle in Allahabad and to carry out awareness regarding CNG etc. 2. Over a period of 11 years, the fact situation, as alleged in the petition, has changed with the availability of the CNG gas and its increased use over a period of time and therefore, the present petition has lost its efficacy.
