The present writ petition has been filed seeking directions to the respondent-Delhi Jal Board (“DJB”) to grant water connection to the petitioner’s residence bearing No. 1031/D-2, Ground Floor, Aya Nagar, New Delhi. 2. On the last date of hearing, this Court had noted as follows: “1. The short point raised by the petitioner in the present case is that a water pipeline be connected to the residence of the petitioner, i.e., House No. 1031/D-2, Ground Floor, Aya Nagar, New Delhi, from the nearest tube well. 2.
