The petitioners had filed the above O.A. before the learned Tribunal, inter alia, contending therein that pursuant to a requisition sent by the respondents to the Employment Exchange in August 2000 seeking the services of Group-D Employees, the petitioner no.1 was engaged as a casual labourer against a Group-D post on 11.09.2000; the petitioner no.4 was engaged on 03.10.2000; the petitioner no.2 on 06.10.2000; and the petitioner no.3 on 20.06.2001.
