While there can be no dispute about the fact that the respondent, having delayed payment of the retiral benefits to the petitioner(s), must pay interest thereon from the date on which the retiral benefits became due and payable, at the same time, insofar as the rate of interest is concerned, this Court in Rajbir Singh v. Commissioner MCD & Anr., 2025 SCC OnLine Del 649, has remanded the matter back to a Full Bench of the learned Tribunal for a decision
