Learned counsel for the applicant has argued that the applicant is innocent and has been falsely implicated in the present case. He has nothing to do with the said offence as alleged in the FIR. He is not named in the FIR. His name has come up subsequently in the statement of a squealer and thereupon in the statements of brother and wife of deceased person who had only suspected that the applicant might have committed the said offe
