The present bail application under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed on behalf of applicant, Jitendra Kumar Alias Mota with a prayer to release him on bail in Case Crime No. 0835 of 2025, under Section 8/20 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, Police Station- Civil Lines, District- Moradabad. Learned counsel for the applicant has contended that as per prosecution case, 1 Kg. 116 grams of Charas is alleged to have been recovered from the possession of the applicant, which is marginally above the commercial quantity.
