The present bail application under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed on behalf of applicant, Gautam Kumar, with a prayer to release him on bail in Case Crime No. 279 of 2025, under Section 8/21/29 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, Police Station- Kotwali Katra, District- Mirzapur. 3. Learned counsel for the applicant has contended that 255 gms. of heroine powder is alleged to have been recovered from the possession of the applicant, which is marginally above the commercial quantity.
