The petitioner is a candidate belonging to the Scheduled Castes, who applied for recruitment to the post of Constable (GD) in the Central Armed Police Forces1. The said exam was conducted by the Staff Selection Commission on 12 February 2025. Consequent to his clearing earlier rounds of selection, a Detailed Medical Examination2 of the petitioner took place on 27 November 2025.
