The petitioner wants an electricity connection. He says that his application is pending since 2017. Learned Counsel for the Electricity Corporation invites our attention to an estimate communicated to the petitioner on 31.05.2025 by the Executive Engineer, according to which, the petitioner is required to deposit Rs.40,000 and odd to facilitate grant of the said connection for the reasons mentioned therein. The said communication is not under challenge. The petitioner should either deposit the aforesaid estimate or raise a dispute before the concerned authority or forum.
